Stockholms Winter Games var ett årligt idrotts- och aktivitetsevenemang där jullovslediga barn och ungdomar kunde testa på olika idrotter på Stockholmsmässan i Stockholm.

Blandat med olika aktiviteter att prova på kunde man även se olika uppvisningar och shower i världsklass av bland annat Cirkus Cirkör, The Voice Street Dance School och Guinness rekordhållare och världsmästare i BMX & Skate. Stockholm Winter Games arrangerades framgångsrikt under flera år. Arrangemanget genomfördes i nära samarbetet med flera kommuner, företag och föreningar i Stockholms län.

Aktiviteter på Stockholm Winter Games

Verksamheten på Stockholm Winter Games vände sig till barn och ungdomar som gillar aktiviteter i form av idrott, musik, dans och spel. Man kunde testa på bland annat basket, BMX, bowling, innebandy, skidskytte, mountain bike, pingis, street dance och mycket mycket mer.

Både kropp och själ mår bra när man rör på sig. Rekommendationen är att barn och ungdomar rör på sig åtminstone 2 timmar per dag. Enligt Folkhälsomyndigheten är det särskilt viktigt att röra på sig under uppväxtåren. Eftersom det är då vi bygger vårt skelett, våra muskler och utvecklar vår motorik, koordination och rörelseförmåga.
